We have worked
very hard and are now pleased to be able to say that since 2001
our U.K. software development arm, Kilclare Software Ltd, has received
ISO 9001 certification for the design, supply and support
of computer software programs. This should provide users a great
deal of comfort regarding the VA development processes as they
have now
been independently certified to be among those considered world-class.
Kilclare follows
a software engineering process called The Rational Unified Process
("RUP"). RUP provides a disciplined approach to assigning
tasks and responsibilities within a software development organization.
The
figure shows the overall architecture of the RUP. Its horizontal axis
represents time and shows the life cycle aspects of the process as it
unfolds - the dynamic aspect of the process as it is enacted, expressed
in terms of phases, iterations and milestones. The vertical axis represents
disciplines, which logically group activities by nature- the static
aspect of the process described in terms of process components, disciplines,
activities, workflows and roles. Kilclare's goal in following the process
is to ensure the production of high-quality software that meets the
needs of our end-user clients. We are happy to answer any of your technical
questions regarding our program, system requirements and installation
options.
